Who we are
Carriage House is an event venue at 170 Eldridge Street, New York, NY 10002, operated by 170 Eldridge LLC ("we", "us"). This page explains what we do with information you give us through our websites (including book.carriagehouse.nyc, talent.carriagehouse.nyc, friends.carriagehouse.nyc and curators.carriagehouse.nyc) and the terms for the text and WhatsApp messages we send.
What we collect
- What you enter in our forms: your name, email, phone number and the details you choose to share, such as event plans, work experience, availability or business information.
- The messages and emails you send us, and your answers to shift offers.
- For people we pay (event staff and Curators): payout and tax details are collected and held by our payment processor, Stripe. We don't store bank account numbers ourselves.
How we use it
- To answer inquiries and plan, book and run events.
- To offer shifts to event staff and send confirmations, reminders and schedule changes.
- To pay staff, vendors' referral fees and Curators, and to keep the records the law requires.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that run our systems for us (such as Google Workspace, Airtable, Stripe, Netlify, Twilio and Meta's WhatsApp Business service), only so they can provide those services; with a vendor when you ask us to introduce you; and when the law requires it.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.
Text messages and WhatsApp
- Opting in: event staff choose to get texts and/or WhatsApp messages by ticking the box on our application at talent.carriagehouse.nyc. It's optional; offers always come by email too.
- What we send: shift offers, booking confirmations, reminders before a shift and schedule changes. No marketing.
- How often: message frequency varies with how many shifts you're offered or booked for, usually a few messages per event.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- Stopping: reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or email us to stop texts or WhatsApp messages. Stopping never affects whether we offer you work; offers continue by email.
- Help: reply HELP to a text, email gordon@carriagehouse.nyc or call (404) 384-8255.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep information for as long as we work together and as long as the law requires for tax and business records. You can ask us to see, correct or delete what we have about you by emailing gordon@carriagehouse.nyc.

If we change this page, we'll update the date at the top.
